Detroit: a Home of American Innovation

The history of the Automobile industry and other industries that originated in Detroit have always been a fascination to me. I have wanted to visit the city for forever, and last month I got the opportunity to take a weekend trip there. The highlight of the journey was, easily, getting to go to the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Greenfield Village, and observing how modern American industries developed. It was truly incredible seeing things like the Model T Car, Ford race cars, the JFK assasination car, some of the first refrigerated rail cars, and early versions of the first locomotives. There was even a huge Flight exhibit that had replicas of the first plane flown by the Wright Brothers, which was super cool. To help share the trip with you, I have included pictures of my adventures in the museum that wonderful day. Have a great weekend everyone!
